This just in! After almost 5 months of fostering a dog it is hard not to feel completely emotionally attached to it. When the prospect of a real adopter cam into view, I just couldn't do it! I thought of all the pros and cons but when emotions are involved, it is truly hard to weigh the issue. It seems that emotions are a category all their own-making it really hard to see things without a bias.
So here we are, the proud owners of two beautiful pit bulls, weighing in at about 45 pounds each. White and with winning personalities, forever to be part of the Bates family. It was an easy transition since we've had her for so long anyway but Ethel is officially family member #5. I don't mention him often but on top of two people and now two dogs we also have a cat. So here we are, 5 "individuals" in a one bedroom, 550 sq foot house. And we're thinking about expanding.
On the last note, for all of you dedicated readers, I have been thinking of extremely interesting things to say over the last 2 1/2 months but unfortunately my computer doesn't want me to post. I'm still working on this issue and my friend allowed me to use her's to create this post today. I'll post some pictures hopefully in the near future. Until then, we're signing off.
Happy New Year from the family: Eleanor, Ethel, Tahoe, Vale & Abe
